Step Places are proud to announce the breaking of ground at our Cotton Square development scheme in Ancoats, Manchester. To mark the occasion a sod-cutting ceremony was held on site, with representatives from Step Places, Eric Wright, and Greater Manchester Combined Authority all in attendance.
Cotton Square is mixed-use scheme development which includes 23 unique apartments and townhouses, a refurbished neighbourhood pub, and new artisan restaurant unit. Located in the Ancoats area, which was the epicentre of cotton production in Manchester during the 19th century, today the area is a blossoming residential and cultural hotspot with new independent bars, restaurants, and a great family friendly community atmosphere.
Harinder Dhaliwal, managing director at First Step said “The Cotton Square development is a boutique mixed use scheme, which plays an integral role within the wider regeneration of Ancoats Urban Village, helping create a vibrant new community of residents within the area.”
“As with all of our developments, we have focused a great deal of time in ensuring that the overall design and specification of the Cotton Square dwellings are of the highest quality, using creative and innovative thinking, and built with our future residents in mind. We have seen unprecedented levels of demand for urban living in Manchester, reflected by our strong ratio of off-plan sales all to owner occupiers.”
Cotton Square is currently scheduled for build completion by December 2018.Back to News & Views
