We are always interested in nature in an urban environment as this is connected to the work we do at Step Places we came across a female goose sitting on five eggs on a small patch of grass next to the Rochdale canal in piccadilly basin, if you are lucky enough to be there when she is not covering them there is a chance of sneak peek, we see her every morning. She doesn't move much, just lifts her head, watches passersby, then settles back down. Her partner is usually a few feet away, pretending he's not bothered but watchfully protective, at any bystander, dog or any inconvenience that gets too close a real inspiration that even in this city centre urban environment we are lucky enough to see mother nature at work, hoping to share pictures of goslings soon.
